activities and experiences that are detailed below focusing on youth
development in social, ethical, emotional, physical, and cognitive
competencies.

Today’s teens and tweens are connected to one another, and to the world,
via digital technology. While today’s tweens and teens may be more
digitally savvy than their parents, their lack of maturity and life experience
can quickly get them into trouble with these new social venues. We will
continuously discuss digital boundaries and social media responsibility and
will help them navigate properly through all these interactive channels.

Athletes who have high levels of self-confidence end up in the winner's
circle. We want our athletes to feel fully confident at game time and
confident in themselves without a ball in their hands.
Communicate and talk with each athlete on ways to find what each of their
identity is outside of sports.
Discuss and explain the importance of other passions and interests outside
of basketball that could lead to success after their playing career is over..
We will offers a series of guidelines that focus on positive transitions to
discover interests beyond basketball.
MENTORING

Each professional will discuss their individual real life experiences both as
an athlete and personal challenges throughout school in the pros, and
normal day to day life situations.
We will focus on educating, preparation and providing our athletes with the
proper tools to succeed at their current level on up through High School.
Weekly exercises will be performed that are tailored and relevant to the
athlete's current situations with basketball and school.
The athletes will set goals at the beginning of each season. They will learn
about goal setting and why it is important to plan in advance that is going
to help develop daily habits to accomplish their goals.
Evaluation sheets will be given to each athlete and reviewed at the end of
each season. Both player and coach will fill out questionnaire and
thoroughly discussed with the player and parents.

techniques for quick success. These lessons and techniques can be used
as extra workouts outside of practice giving our players the opportunity to
work on their individual weaknesses.
NUTRITION
Our nutrition education program is specifically developed for our athletes empowering them to make smart food choices.

the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about what
they eat and drink. We will analyzing each player's diets and coach them on
the most valuable nutrients, which will help our young athletes play to the
best of their competitive ability.
TRAINING
Training camps, clinics & educational programs
Professional Athletes, Personal Trainers and Teachers will come to speak and
educate our young athletes on successful routines such as; foundation training,
speed-strength and power training, plyometrics, sports loading, speed endurance
training, sprinting form and technique and sprint-assisted training. Our program
design includes planning, periodization, individual and team schedules, and
workouts in the preseason, in-season, and postseason periods.
SPEED AND AGILITY
Speed and agility training drills are designed to work your entire body, core muscles, as well as the tendons in your body.
Speed and agility training drills are designed to work your entire body, core
muscles, as well as the tendons in your body. It is important to train at a
level that is equal to your game intensity to help increase your performance
and to minimize injury
Injury prevention and recovery go along with speed and agility training. We
will show our players how to foam roll and stretch. We will also explain
when the proper time is to do these recovery exercises.
Children’s Yoga will be implemented once a month. This will be a fun activity
that parents and children can do together.

Our young athletes will focus on giving back, this is where we will give and
nothing happens(we will teach them what it is to give without expectation of
anything in return). No benefits for us(We are not seeking recognition, or
praise.), no recognition gets sent our way( . Our biggest and sole reward is the
realization that we have made a positive change in someone or some family’s
life. No matter how tough we think our life is there’s always someone who has
to face challenges that are even tougher than ours.
During each season Elev8 will choose a community service activity that they
will all do together. This is our opportunity to bond thru giving back.

to practices or after practices specific volunteers will work with our young
athletes who need additional assistance with their school's curriculum

Tutors will be Parents, High School and/or College Students who will
volunteer their time.

that will award through our donation and fundraising program. We will offer
up to two scholarship awards per season to low income families. We
realize that not every youth athlete has an equal opportunity to learn and
play at a higher level, this is why we will created “Motiv8”.
